Madison gets revenge — 30 years later
Madison ended Whiteford’s bid for an undefeated season Tuesday, beating Whiteford 66-63 on Whiteford’s home floor. Whiteford was ranked No. 6 in Class C in the most recent AP poll. Incidentally, 30 years ago next week Whiteford went to Madison and beat the No. 9 ranked Trojans 53-38 for one of its biggest wins ever.

Love this blog. It’s very entertaining to follow Monroe County sports via Doug Donnelly. I am a Whiteford grad (who knows Doug) with many friends from Bedford, Ida, Erie Mason and Flat Rock, Monroe, etc. So, I love reading the inside sports news. I am currently displaced 100 miles from home, so this is a nice way to stay in touch and on the pulse of sports. I will be checking in often! Thanks for doing this Monroe Evening News!

This is a great idea! Been following since the first of the year and this blog was a a huge help. I also am a Whiteford grad who know Doug. I now live in Dallas Texas so this helps me stay updated. Thank you Monroe Evening News and Doug for making this possible.
