I had an angel of a prof in my phys ed minor program @ EMU who made the mistake of telling us that beer was the best source of replacing electrolytes after working out. We already knew it was better tasting than the gator juice (all we had was the yellow/green stuff to choke down back then), so we made regular stops at the Wooden Nickel and Cross Street Station after pick up games and visits the university IM building.
