IPA Chicken

Date February 21, 2008

1 whole chicken
Herbs: Basil, parsley, oregano, cumin, and whatever else I thought might go good on chicken
Seasonings: Salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and paprika.
Also - added some garlic, not fresh, I didn’t have time.  Just a tablespoon from the jar.

The beer: 1 pint of Homebrew India Pale Ale (boy it was tough not having a taste this morning as I was making this).
Crockpot: Medium to medium high while your at work for the day.

The results: I’ll let you know tonight. :)

That should turn out really nice! I did something similar last weekend. I made pulled BBQ pork sandwiches. I slow cooked pork roast all day in Three Floyd’s Gumball Head Wheat beer. It turned out great! Even withe the bbq sauce I could taste the flavor of the beer mixed in the meat. Good luck with your chicken!

The chicken turned out awesome. Very juicy and with a hint of the beer taste coming through.
