Great Lakes, great brew

“You’ve got to be better if you’re going to compete against a national company,” he said. King’s Brewing Co. in Pontiac, Mich., has an Irish Red that Halley maintains is better than Killian’s.
“Once you try it, you’ll never want a Killian’s again,” he said.
And according to most experts, Michigan beer is becoming something of a hot commodity, not only in the Midwest, but nationally as well.

I travel several of the states in the Midwest on business. I know I’m not being partial: Michigan does have some of the best beers in the world!!! Reading articles like that should help us to appreciate what we have in our own backyards! Thanks for sharing!!!

Good thing Eugene’s vote didn’t really matter. I’d be ashamed to say I’m from Hastings. We are going there this weekend, and I shall have a beer in honor of Eugene Davenport.

Too bad the politicians don’t market beer tourism like they do the ad that runs on CNBC all the time!
