Slow Food Detroit Presents An Inspired Brewery Tour
May 23, 2008
On June 21,  Slow Food Detroit is having an extremely special event. It is the tour of Bell’s Brewery. This is even more special giving the fact that they don’t give tours anymore. Not impressed yet? Rex Halfpenny will be giving a speech on the modern craft brewery industry in Michigan. The tour will be led by head brewer Ken Belau. On top of that you will get to sample small batch beer brewed at Bell’s and only offered at the Eccentric Cafe. Oh yeah, then you have an optional stop at Dark Horse on the way home. Well, I’ve sold it enough, although I believe it sells itself. The details are below.

Founder’s Fest sounds awesome; I just might have to see about staying overnight in Grand Rapids.
