Wow, they have fermentors that hold more beer than most MI breweries do in a year!

Yes, I can honestly say I was totally unprepared for the vast size of the equipment at Bell’s. I knew it wasn’t just another microbrewery/brewpub, but to think that they make more beer than all other breweries in Michigan combined, have storage tanks that hold more beer than smaller places go through in a year, and are in the process of further expansion is just unbelievable to me.
Loved the Slow Food Detroit tour on Saturday; the only thing that would have made it better was if Larry himself lead the tour. Oh well, at least I got to talk with him at the Eccentric Cafe later in the day!
