Michigan Beer Month Celebration @ 129 Lounge

Date July 17, 2008

Maybe you’re so upset about the buy-out of Anheuser- Busch by InBev that you can’t drink another A-B product. Maybe, you want to try and support a struggling state by buying local from Michigan Breweries. Maybe you love craft beer and want to try a beer you might not have had before. If any of these statements apply to you, I’ve got the event for you. It is a Michigan Beer tasting. It gives you a great opportunity to try some of the finest beer brewed right here in Michigan.
July is Michigan Beer Month. Michigan Beer Buzz, 129 Lounge and Beek’s Bar and Grille in Monroe are celebrating this fact by holding our 2nd annual Michigan Beer Tasting. Michigan beer is considered world class beer. Beer Advocate just had an article in their last issue lauding what a great beer state we live in. This is a great opportunity to try some of Michigan’s best.
This year we’ve expanded the tasting into a second bar, Beek’s and we have got some representatives from New Holland and Arbor to help pour so that should be addressed.
The other highlights are the improved giveaways. Everytime you buy a set of ten tickets you get a raffle ticket. This year’s raffle prizes include Bell’s goods and even a Bell’s pub mirror. We may have a new beer release from New Holland that won’t be out in the stores until next week.
Stay tune for more information. We will be releasing a beer list sometime soon.  The important details are below.
