What Spencer said, with the exception of ABC's Espresso Love.

I do like the idea of using Michigan barley and hops. Keepin' it local :)

I'm looking forward to the Scottish Ale also, I'm sure it's going to be good. I had a couple of buddies that were really fond of the java stout though. I sent one a text message today and received a text back that I can't repeat here. I wouldn't put it past him to be writing a letter to bells right now. My guess is first, he's at every store that sells Bells buying up the Java stouts left on the shelves.

As someone who is just never been wild about coffee stouts, I'm looking forward to the new beers. Most coffee stouts taste to me of burnt and/or stale coffee. But then, I don't like to drink coffee that's more than 30 minutes past brewing.

I'll miss the Java more than the Sparkling Ale. When I first saw the words Christmas ale, I thought spicey winter warmer, and those aren't my favorite, but a scotch ale sounds very interesting.

Yes, the very good news of the Christmas Ale is way over shadowed by the bad news. It's especially disappointing since the Java Stout wasn't as good this past year as it has been.

I'm really going to miss the Sparking Ale too.

I was rather upset by this news.. I have no doubt the Scotch Ale is going to be an awesome beer, but please don't take away the Java Stout!! Even worse news, I just read that Devil Dancer won't be making a return this winter.. It's going to be a looong winter. Guess it's time for me to step up and brew a triple IPA.. :)
