Bus Trips to The Winter Beer Festival

Here are a few options for those of you who wish to get to the Winter Beer Festival but do not want to drive.

Ann Arbor: Bus to Winter Beer Festival

Once again, Arbor Brewing Company will be providing bus service to and from the Brewers Guild Winter Beer Festival in Grand Rapids. The festival is Saturday, February 28 from noon to 5 pm. Enthusiast hour will be from 11-12. The bus will depart Corner Brewery at 8:00 and will depart Arbor Brewing Company at 8:30. Doors to the pubs will open 30 minutes prior to departure time. Departure times are firm so come early! We will provide complimentary carry-out coffee and bagels at Arbor Brewing Company for all passengers as well as refreshments on the bus. The bus will depart for the return trip at 5:30. Bus Tickets are $35 (early bird tickets $30 through Jan 31. Festival tickets sold separately and are available at Corner or ABC or through the MI Brewers Guild website.

    Otoole’s Cass Lake will have a party bus going to the MBG Winter Beer
    Festival in Grand Rapids. We will be leaving Waterford Friday
    Afternoon 2ish and coming back Sat evening. Price will depend on how
    many people sign up, but it will be CHEAP! Your on your own for a
    hotel but your welcome to stay and party with us. Beer will be provided

    GRAND RAPIDS — Kalamazoo homebrewers Chet Emmons and Colt Dykstra are again organizing a bus trip to the Michigan Brewers Guild’s Winter Beer Festival Feb. 28 at Fifth Third Ballpark.

    The bus will leave at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 28 from downtown Kalamazoo at Shakespeare Pub. Tickets are $70 and includes your $35 ticket to the festival, plus a ride back leaving at 5 p.m. The homebrewers will provide some of their beer for the ride up.

    “We’ll have a good selection of beers,” Emmons said.

    I have a couple of buses leaving from Kalamazoo Lawton, Battle creek, and Marshal. The cost is $70 and include bus, festival and Beer on the Bus. Email or Call if interested I am still working out the pickup times at the different locations. stilltriking@sbcglobal.net
