Karaoke (& Random) Tuesday
| My Karaoke Theme Song is “Since U Been Gone” |
I’m not so emotional that you wear your heart on your sleeve - but I’m not afraid to show how I’m truly feeling.Whether I’m singing along in the car or singing on stage, my favorite songs make me get a little carried away. I’m definitely the type most likely to dream of becoming a rock star! I might also sing: “Livin’ La Vida Loca,” “I Will Survive,” or “Hollaback Girl” Stay away from people who sing: “I’ll Make Love to You” |
Here’s another one for you. In honor of Top Twelve Idol Tuesday (will blog later). It’s true, the only reason I’m teaching now is because I’m too old to try out for Americal Idol.

Your Karaoke Theme Song is “Since U Been Gone”
You are a very expressive and genuine person.
You’re not so emotional that you wear your heart on your sleeve - but you’re not afraid to show how you’re truly feeling.
Whether you’re singing along in the car or singing on stage, your favorite songs make you get a little carried away.
You’re definitely the type most likely to dream of becoming a rock star!
You might also sing: “Livin’ La Vida Loca,” “I Will Survive,” or “Hollaback Girl”
Stay away from people who sing: “I’ll Make Love to You”
I totally rock out to Kelly Clarkson–love her! Do you or have you say karaoke? It is a lot of fun! We were at Tres Amigo’s on Friday and were disappointed the entertainment was singing…..we were hoping it was karaoke! Good times, good marg’s

I am a karaoke whore. About 10 years ago or so, I had one of those ginormous (it’s a word, I swear) car phones mounted on the floor of my Taurus. I would rock it out to the radio constantly (still do). Pretty much weekly, somebody I know would bust me.
They: I saw you at the stop light. You were TOTALLY singing weren’t you?
Me: Naw. I was just probably using the speaker phone. I’m just very intense.
“I’m a Genie in a Bottle Baby…”

Your Karaoke Theme Song is “I’m Too Sexy”
You’re a total goof ball and a bit of a nut job. You don’t take yourself seriously at all.
And while you may not be the greatest singer, you’re the first to volunteer for karaoke.
You have a wild and unpredictable sense of humor that always gets people cracking up.
Irreverent and rebellious, your humor knows no bounds or limits. You enjoy shocking people.
You might also sing: “Like a Virgin,” “Ice Ice Baby,” and “Hey Ya!”
Stay away from people who sing: “Sweet Home Alabama”
This is SOOOOO true!! Cheryl–whaddya think? Is this me? (and I have your bread). Maybe we should have a karaoke party and embarrass our kids. (Robin, yours are too young to be embarrassed yet but we could tape it)

Soooo true LOL We could have a lot of fun singing, I jammed to Bon Jovi Livin on a Prayer today WITH Austin and his friend in the car—cranked it! They make me listen to their rap allllll the time, so I opened up the sun roof and turned it up!
Let me know how much I owe you and I’ll run a check over. Will you be at the banquet tomorrow? I’m not sure its like ur part of the team even though you don’t have a kid playing at the HS lol

When “our” tunes start getting into movies/commercials and becoming cult classics (ala bohemian rhapsody in Wayne’s world), it takes all the fun out of it. The worst I’ve done to my kids is singing along to the Best of Bread while holding them captive on a long trip. I have Craig groovin on Billy Joel now, and Dan has them learning Black Sabbath songs (although I’m not sure Ozzy ever sang really words). Hey Robin, Maybe Ozzy can be a guest mentor on AI this year!
CE–email me–my last name w/an “s” on the end at bex.net
