Prom (& Random) Tuesday

With prom season fast approaching, I figured I ought to get a jump on what to wear. Turns out…

I should get a dress that’s…

I am naturally elegant and classy. I should opt for a black dress with some funky accents to show off my good fashion sense and natural beauty.

Hmmm. Interesting, because what I went with was this…

Oh, crikey, I just remembered, it’s not 1988. I HATE when that happens.
Ok, if you’re brave enough to send them to me as .jpegs, I’ll post a gallery. Oh, and are you kidding me, I totally reserve the right to draw cartoons on them I promise not to make fun of you. ;)
P.S. Check out yesterday’s “Faking It” post. I figured a work around for my image loading problem. See my awesome bug drawing. Seriously, it’s worth a look-see!

  1. I’m wondering if you can sue Beyonce for absconding with your 1988 prom hairdo for use in the Austin Powers franchise. ;-)

  2. Good question. Also, LPC, inquiring minds want to know what kind of prom dress you should wear.

  3. I got the same type of dress, but a different picture–a shorter version–very backless. I’d need stick-em to keep it up (and I am, uh, busty).

I didn’t go to any of the proms. My one formal high school dance was the one I mentioned on my blog–homecoming–and it was so uncomfortable, I just found parties to go to after that. Besides, my proms were in the 70’s–guys wore peach or baby blue tuxes! (I went to 2 formal dances in college–ended up in the hospital after one, running 105 temp–probably should have just stopped right there!)

  4. Robin … dear lady … I’d have to be dead first.

Of course, my loverly wife says she can arrange that at the funeral home …
