First of all, why on earth would ANYONE want to curb chocolate cravings?? You can have a nice diet that includes chocolate (in moderation, of course).
Second, this was done among MEN, and it’s about chocolate craving? Now, I know men who like chocolate, but I know few who are true chocoholics. A couple of teenage boys, yes, but grown men, not so many. I will take a hunk of dark chocolate any time of the day, any day of the week.
My kids were disappointed because I have a client who is a chocolate manufacturer, and I didn’t have time to stop at Chocolate World before I headed home. Paradise, that Chocolate World.
If you are a true chocolate lover, the spa at the Hotel Hershey in Hershey, Pennsylvania has some amazing chocolate-oriented spa treatments.
Hmmm. Am I the only guy that reads your column? Anyway, I enjoyed the WALK OFF CRAVINGS column although I don’t think walking would help me. My wife says I’m just a SUGAR WHORE and can’t help myself. She might be right.
@jclark500, guy here … and I believe furiousball is, too.
@RR, you know I’m a big guy. 35% of me is chocolate. I was craving some last night after a serious mental and somewhat physical workout … trying to get to Tecumseh from Luna Pier in that weather, fighting with the roads … and only making it to the KOA on Summerfield before turning back and fighting it all over again. I was wiped out. And had to have chocolate. Reese’s worked.
Another thing that’s not chocolate? Ovaltine. I’d rather have hot water with brown crayons dipped in it ala Linus Van Pelt.

You know what works for me? I eat chocolate when I want it. As long as there is enough on hand, the cravings go away.

The world is not enough. (going with a James Bond theme in my comments)
