Changes in the works for Michigan auto insurance?
I can hear some of you saying “About darn time!”
Michigan is the only state that requires unlimited personal injury protection benefits in case of an accident.
But this set-up might change. Legislation has been introduced in the Michigan Senate to amend Michigan’s automobile insurance laws to let motorists continuing paying for unlimited medical coverage … or choose coverage that provide a cap on such payments.
The estimated savings would be 15 to 16 percent on a policy.
