Even 50-cents off wouldn’t make this gas price friendly
I’m a Kroger customer and have a shopper card. I usually earn enough points from shopping at the grocery store to get a discount on gas prices at Kroger, although not a really big discount.
My current discount is 10 cents.
I fueled up this morning at Kroger on S. Monroe St. in Monroe, and got a price of $3.519.
11.24 gallons of gas = $39.57 out of my bank account.
Now, 50 cents off for those customers who really rack up the Kroger points would be a price of $3.01 per gallon.
That’s still not a very pleasant price at the pump.
