Michigan Bridge Card sign-ups available in Flat Rock
The Michigan Coordinated Access to Food for the Elderly program will have volunteers meet with those age 60 and older for appointments to apply for the Michigan Bridge Card on Monday May 19 at Flat Rock Tower, 28744 Telegraph Rd., Flat Rock, Mich.
A Bridge Card helps pay for food, so that participants can use their money for medicine and other needs. The Flat Rock appointments were set up so those who want to sign up can avoid making a trip to a Department of Human Services office.
Those who want to sign up for the Flat Rock times should call (877) 664, 2233 for an appointment between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. that day. The staff member will explain what to bring to the application appointment.
