Cindy– We have no cable, no TV, and no DVD rental membership. It’s not a big deal to us and I can’t justify the expense. I’d rather cut entertainment than healthy food, you know?

Thanks for mentioning my post. What always gets me is that you could say that you have given up food and people would take it in stride but say that you gave up TV and Movies and they gasp in disbelief and call you extreme. Frankly when you are struggling to survive, you really aren’t thinking a lot about what is going on with the latest sitcom. I do miss the news but I do quite a bit of reading so I keep up to date.
