Danny’s and Hi-Lite ads 5/5
Danny’s and Hi-Lite run their grocery ads on Mondays in The Monroe Evening News.
- Danny’s Fine Foods in Monroe has butter for $1.99 a pound, extra large eggs $1.29 a dozen and baby back ribs $3.99 a pound.
- Hi-Lite Supermarket in Monroe Township has Spartan mushrooms at 39 cents a can, Eckrich franks at 99 cents a package and selected General Mills cereal at $1.79 a box.
By the way, Relish magazine is also in today’s print edition of the newspaper. This month’s recipe theme is picnic food. The Sweet Potato Fries recipe on page 4 sounds good, I have Cajun seasoning in my pantry so that would be an easy one for me to try.
