Summer reading programs
If you have school-age children, a summer reading program might provide an incentive to open the books and read when they are on vacation from school. Depending on the program, you can earn free stuff and various rewards.
Here are some that you can look into:
- Monroe County Library System’s summer reading program.
- Milan Public Library’s summer reading program.
- Barnes and Noble’s summer reading program. (There are BN stores in Ann Arbor and at Westfield Franklin Park.)
