Medications on the go
If you’re prone to headaches or other routine ailments, you’re probably keeping at least one medication with you at all times.
The problem is – how do you transport that stuff? It is certainly wise to carry any medicine in its original container, in case you have to prove what it “actually” is.
Here’s the trick that works for most of what we choose to carry around:
We each have small manufacturer containers for those medications we deem necessary to have available when out and about.
My husband keeps containers for over-the-counter medications in his lunch box when he’s at work; and puts them in his overnight bag when traveling. I keep my medications, along with a couple of bandages, in a zippy fabric pouch that was sold as a “travel makeup kit.” The fabric pouch fits in all but one of my handbags.
Now, it is cheaper to buy a 100-count container of headache pills than a 25-count. So here is how to solve that problem:
Buy the bigger bottles of your medications to store at home. Then restock your little “travel” bottle as needed.
