Monroe sales fliers 6/21

Outdoor grills, camping equipment and backyard fun items are starting to go on end-of-season sales, so this is a good time to inventory what you have and make a list of what should be replaced while selections are still plentiful.

Here are the sales fliers that were in my home-delivery edition of The Monroe Evening News today:

  • Pier 1 Imports has a sale promoted as “almost everything under the sun” with discounts ranging from 25 to 75 percent off. (Pier 1 has stores in Toledo, Canton and Ypsilanti).
  • Staples has a PC clearance sale with up to $350 in instant savings and easy rebates on selected computers. (Do not buy a college student’s computer until you find out what the campus technology requirements are – they do vary widely from college to college.) There is also a free photo printer with selected cameras.
  • Rite Aid (sale starts Sunday) has several buy one, get one free sales that include NatureMade vitamins, selected Revlon makeup, selected Kellogg’s cereal. Crest Pro-Health toothpaste or Night Rinse will be free after rebate.
  • Busch’s Family Supermarket (sale starts Monday) has Spartan sugar at $1.88, Spartan butter at $1.99, a selection of ice cream toppings on sale, and a bundle promotion where you can get five Pepsi 12-packs for $11. Milk will be $1.99 a gallon.
