Grocery and drugstores

• Walgreens has buy three General Mills cereal for $7, then get a $2 Register Rewards coupon. (Check your coupon box, there are GM coupons in circulation.) 7-Up brand pop is 89 cents for a 2-liter. Milk is $2.69 a gallon. Selected spices on Walgreens flier coupon. Skippy peanut butter three for $5.
• Meijer has buy one get one free on Odom’s Tennessee Pride sausage (check your coupon box), buy one get one free on frozen chicken breast, milk at 2 for $5 ($2.50 each). Selected General Mills cereal three for $7.
• Aldi has milk at $1.99 a gallon. Ground beef patties are $2.79 a pound. Hommus is $1.69 for eight ounces. Pork baby back ribs were $3.49 a pound.
• Kroger has a Daytona Mega Event promotion starting Monday. Buy 10 participating items get $3 off your grocery order. This might be confusing to keep track of in the store – your best bet is to look for the shelf tags and bring a fully loaded coupon box, a piece of paper and a pen to list your eligible purchases. Other sales this week include California strawberries and Kroger cheese.

Department and specialty stores

• Kohl’s has 40 to 60 percent off knit tops for the family. Tops and bottoms for juniors are on sale. Summer Living Shop items are 60 percent off. Patriotic Tees are $4.49.
• Menards has a summer sale that include desk wash, a dehumidifier and citronella torches.
• Kmart has “perk up your dorm” twin sheet sets at $29.99. All seasonal lawn games are 20 percent off.
• Dunham’s Sports has Sunday and Monday doorbusters on a kayak and a water trampoline.
• Target has a five-piece travel luggage set with accessories on sale for $49. Special purchase bulk items in the flier include Bounty Basic, Ziploc bags and Nature Valley granola bars.
• Durocher’s in Monroe has its Brand Source flier on kitchen and laundry appliances.
• Dick’s Sporting Goods has its annual clearance sidewalk sale with deals on athletic, casual and golf apparel, golf gear and camping gear.
• Rex TV has a summer sale that includes dehumidifiers, mini-fridges and car audio equipment.
• Sears has 40 to 60 percent off summer attire and sandals. All refrigerators and freezers are on sale.
• Best Buy has double points this week for the reward zone on most purchases in store or on line.
• Meijer has 20 percent off all Valvoline motor oils. There is $5 off 24-hour rental of the Rug Doctor machine, see customer service desk for details. Do you want a Coleman camping stove like the one I used to cook on during the power outage? It’s on sale.
• Monroe Dodge Chrysler Jeep Superstore has a flier that lists certified used vehicles and other specials.
