Summer Lunch Program for Monroe-area children
The Monroe Housing Commission has announced that the Summer Food Service Program for Children will host a Monroe lunch this summer. Lunch will be served between noon and 12:30 p.m., Mondays through Fridays, June 9 to Aug. 22 at Speckled Frog Learning Center, 900 Greenwood Ave., Monroe.
A free lunch will be provided for children ages 18 and younger. Eligibility is based on household size and income level.
Families who qualify for free school lunches during the school year automatically qualify for this summer lunch program.
