What’s for dinner? Angel Food ribs

What’s for dinner tonight?

  • Pork riblets from the June Angel Food Ministries box, simmered all day in a Crock-Pot with Sweet Baby Ray’s barbecue sauce.
  • Bush’s baked beans.
  • Corn bread made from scratch.
  • Milk from the June Angel Food Ministries box.

Those baked beans and barbecue sauce were purchased on sales in recent weeks. And corn bread made from scratch is much cheaper than made from a box, although I originally went to that approach when I had a hard time finding our favorite box mix in the store.

My husband says about Angel Food: “Everything is good.”

Great menu. I think I’ll try it later this week. We had the Italian Sausage from the Angel Food Ministries tonight for dinner. They were great!

Mmm…. I love my crock pot but seem to only have a few go-to recipes that I use it for… maybe we’ll be having pork riblets tonight! :)

Anna, I think you were the one who told me about that BBQ sauce!

Yeah – I think so… I’ve got 4 bottles of it in the cabinet downstairs… most of which will be going with us on our camping trip towards the end of July! :)
