Angel Food Ministries ordering tip
One of the first reports on this blog was about Angel Food Ministries food purchase program. In recent months, I have had several posts about the expansion of the program into more communities in the region, and what I’ve made for dinner in my home with the Angel Food ingredients after I started participating.
Keeping in mind that Monroe Church of the Nazarene has its first pickup day on Saturday, here’s a tip for those of you who are just starting on the program:
On pickup day, you should also bring $30 to order and pay for your next month’s box. If you’d like to add the additional “specials,” look up the choices on the Angel Food site and also have that money ready.
Why do you want to do that?
Because then you’ve just saved yourself the inconvenience of going back another time to the order site to get next months’ purchase made.
My mom and I missed out on getting food boxes from an Ohio delivery site in May because we decided to send her back later with our order forms, … and then she forgot to place our order!
