Blog Action Day 2008 focuses on poverty
If you are already a blogger, or plan to start one in the next few weeks, here’s an international project you might want to consider getting involved in:
Blog Action Day is Oct. 15. The 2008 theme is poverty.
The organizers invite bloggers from all topics to discuss poverty issues as they are relevant to their audience. The idea is that when diverse voices participate and inform, a diverse group of people will take action. Here are some creative examples.
The campaign officially launched today and there are already 1,199 bloggers registered.
What will I do or write about on Oct. 15? I don’t know yet. But I have the day marked on my day planner.
