Sara Noel’s many uses for baby food jars

They’re the perfect size for storing rubber bands, twist ties, toothpicks, rolls of stamps, paper clips, safety pins, small amounts of homemade mixes, and herbs and spices. You can make your own compound butters, cinnamon-and-sugar mix, and spice blends, too. You can prechop an onion and store it in a large baby-food jar.
Yes, I have a baby food jar that holds cinnamon and Splenda. I use a small Mason jar to hold my homemade taco spice.
But if you have no use for your baby food jars, see if a 4-H or scout troop leader or classroom teacher could use them for a craft project or assignment.
