Here’s what I got at Kmart super double coupon sale

Here’s some of what I got at the Kmart super double coupon sale at Kmart in Monroe.

Total value of the grocery and drugstore products I selected: $51.61.

I wrote out a check for $21.73.

I turned in the $5 coupon you can get by signing up your e-mail at Kmart.com and also turned in 10 manufacturer coupons from recent Sunday papers.

There were a couple of things I got free, some cost less than 50 cents.

I think this sale would work better at a SuperK, which has a bigger product selection. But if you are limited to the smaller Kmart stores, as you can see from my choices and what other Monroe shoppers are saying, it’s still worth the effort.

Sale ends Sunday.

For $26 I got 2 packs of pull-ups (these alone can get pretty pricey!), a 24-double roll pack of quilted Northern, baby wipes, adult shampoo and another shampoo for the kids. A very satisfying shopping trip with my coupons!

I live in Illinois, three weeks ago this was the first time I heard about double coupon days in our area and up to $2, WOW! My bill rung up to a whooping $193.11, I spent $62.02. And I had a ball doing it. I made a bag of cleaning supplies and glade stuff for both my mom and mother in law. They both got bags of items that would cost up to $40 (tax which is 10% here is not included) and my moms bag only cost me $2.28 while my mother in law bag cost me $1.78. And we still have plenty for our household of six.
