Double coupons ONLY at Super Kmart Nov. 12-16

The Monroe Kmart is NOT a Super Center. And with gas prices being the way they are, you probably do not want to drive out of town just for a grocery special.

But many of you in Monroe work near or otherwise have reason to travel near a Super Kmart from time to time. So while you can’t participate in this promotion at the Monroe Kmart, you can do it at your favorite Super Kmart as you are running other errands or commuting to work this week. Just put a cooler in your car to carry home the frozen and refrigerator goods.

Here’s the deal: Super Double Coupons up to and including $2 at all Kmart Super Centers from Wednesday Nov. 12 through Sunday Nov. 16, according to Detroit Free Press ad.

The Super Kmarts have a lot of good grocery deals this week. If you put a Monroe zip code into the Kmart web site, you’ll get the Monroe sales flier — not the grocery flier I found in the Free Press. You’ll have to know what zip code your favorite store is located in or near.

The grocery specials you can look for this week include three for $5 on Pillsbury crescent rolls, two for $4 on six packs of Mott’s applesauce, two for $4 on Nestle chocolate chips, buy one get one free on beef roast, and buy one get one free on California oranges. There also are 10 for $10 deals on Betty Crocker cake mix, Betty Crocker frosting tubs, Carnation evaporated milk, and Libby pumpkin.

I’ll send an e-mail response to San Juanita … but let me explain my sales and deals policy.

Monroe on a Budget is a blog aimed at the residents of Monroe County, Mich., which just south of the metro Detroit area. Although I have both national audience and a local audience, any sales and deals that I post are for stores that are within driving distance for my local readers.

The local spin is what makes my blog different than most other frugal living / shopping / personal finance blogs.

What I suggest for the national readers who are interested in a promotion I mention is to look up the store’s web site, type in your zip code, and see what’s offered in your area.
