Jobless are reaching out to their on line friends
In an era when people talk about their hobbies on line, post pictures on line, research medical information on line … it is probably no surprise that the jobless are also seeking help and tips from their on line friends.
However, it is quite a surprise where some of those posts can show up. Mike Ingels of The Erie Hiker sent me a link to this thread, I’m lost and need help, from an unemployed construction worker in Lansing, posted at The Michigan Sportsman Forum.
The MonroeTalkers are quick to start chatting about local headlines, but sometimes they’re also the ones looking for information on good paying jobs.
And the Frugal Village Forums has a Financial Hardship board, where those who are already chatting about frugal lifestyles discuss the really difficult issues of job loss and foreclosure.
