Local single mothers sought for focus group
The Nokomis Foundation, a foundation on behalf of women and girls in Michigan, is leading a project to assess the needs of single mothers with children who earn between $20,000-$40,000 a year (income can include all subsidies, child support, unemployment, food stamps, etc).
A $100 honorarium is offered for your participation in a 2-hour Focus Group from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 19 at Monroe County Community College, 1555 S. Raisinville Rd. The focus group is confidential, and will be facilitated in a safe and comfortable environment; a full meal will also be provided.
Criteria for your participation includes: You must be a resident of Monroe County, Mich., aged 25-59, a female head of household with at least one child, and with income between $20-40,000 a year.
