The sales fliers that were in my home-delivery edition of The Monroe Evening News today include some Saturday-only specials in effect tomorrow Nov. 22.

One of my readers mentioned the Meijer flier on a previous post, but there are some other one-day sales to look at too.

• Meijer has its “Why Wait” sale with doorbuster deals from 6 a.m. to midnight Saturday that include 45 percent off women’s and kids’ shoes, 80 percent off sterling silver showcase items, 35 percent off women’s hosery, and NCAA fleece hoodies for $13.99. There is also a computer deal with a PC notebook for $349.99 but only four computers available per each store.
• Sears has a Super Saturday sale with doorbusters from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday that include 60 percent off outerwear for the family, save $50 on a Craftsman three piece electric tool set, and sales on fine jewelry.
• Elder-Beerman has a Super Saturday sale with doorbusters from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday that include men’s sweaters, women’s sleepwear and casual dinnerware. Carter’s blanket sleepers $6.97 during doorbuster hours. Coupons in flier good on non-doorbuster items.
