Ria at Our World and Everything In It reports High tech game units use a lot of juice.
A snippet:
Laser technology uses a lot of juice, as much as two new refrigerators. Unbelievable. But one of the CBS affiliates I was tuned into said the average family that owns one of these units often leave them on costing that average family an extra $100/yr. in electricity for idle time.
