Michigan unemployment was 9.6 in November
I’m sure the headline will be in all the regional newspapers tomorrow. But in the meantime, my co-worker Charles Slat has posted this report on his blog, Consumer Alert!
Michigan’s unemployment rate was 9.6 percent in November, an increase from 9.3 in October.
A snippet:
“Michigan’s labor market has rapidly deteriorated in the last several months due to the fallout of the ongoing national recession,” said Rick Waclawek, director of DLEG’s Bureau of Labor Market Information and Strategic Initiatives.
