Kroger’s sale is getting picked over fast
In addition to shopping the Meijer sales early this morning, I went to Kroger in Monroe during my lunch break to see what I could do with that sale.
I figured out real quick that the Kroger sale items in Monroe are getting picked over fast.
That sales flier started today, and some shelves for the promotion items were already empty. One of the other customers and I kept looking for the same items, and chatting along the way. Yes, the store seemed a little busy for a Monday; but I didn’t expect a picked-over situation so soon.
Could some of you have been buying a Monday sales item on a Sunday? It doesn’t work that way, people. Look at your receipts.
Anyway, I got this shopping basket of Special K, Rice-a-Roni, granola bars, Chicken Helper, frozen veggies and milk for $14 with the help of a 10 for $10 sale, a cereal / granola bar promotion with milk, and of course … coupons!
So it wasn’t a bad outing. It’s all stuff that my husband or I will eat.
It was just a little disappointing when I realized I’d have to rearrange what I originally intended to buy.
