Just curious if you know how much an annual pass is for people that have the Bridge Card?

Heads up if you are looking at this post on Friday July 3: All of the Monroe County Library System branches are closed today. If you do not already have your park pass from the library, you won't be able to get one.

In the meantime, the discounts one can get on the annual passes are for Michigan residents age 65 and older and for those who have Michigan Bridge cards.

My husband and I used the state park pass last night to have a picnic at the beach area. The library pass is a good way to check out the park if you are considering whether to get a season pass, or would only go once a year anyway.

I just saw a news article that says the National Parks are having a "free" sale every weekend this summer. If you are in driving distance of one, check it out. This is being sent from the north woods area of Wisconsin!

There was no fine print on the press release regarding the July 4 holiday weekend.

But if you do plan to use it for the fireworks show on Friday July 3, it would be smart to pick up a pass early in the week. I think a lot of people will have the same idea you do.
