Sara Noel’s fall home decor on a budget

Are you disappointed in even the so-called “sale prices” for fall decor?

I understand. I was tired of my old fall orange blossom wreath and it had seen better days, so I got rid of it a couple of weeks ago thinking I could find a nice replacement as the season goes on.

I haven’t been impressed so far. I’m looking for a reasonably priced harvest wreath at a second-hand or retail store in Monroe, Mich., that would hold up for both Halloween and Thanksgiving. The colors I would like to see are purple, orange, brown and / or cranberry.

I’m still looking.

But Sara Noel, hostess of Frugal Village, has some good centerpiece and basket ideas at Add fall flair to your house on a budget.

Paula, Have you checked Crafts 2000? I haven’t been there lately but they seem to always have good pricing on seasonal decor.

I was at C2K a couple of weeks ago, but I was specifically researching Halloween items in preparation for the Halloween chat.

I’ll take another walk-through this week and see what they’ve got in the fall arrangements. … The orange blossom wreath I used to have did come from C2K after all!
