Whose inheritance is it anyway?
A recent CNN Money article about inheritance issues is getting some discussion in the blogosphere.
You’ll find lots of comments on these two blog posts:

I linked to the CNN Money article too. I liked the fact he pointed out one should spend time with those elderly relatives.
But in response to the concerns raised on the other blogs, do see my other posts about inheritance issues. My recurring theme is: It’s not YOUR money until it actually goes to you. Whomever has the money now can do whatever they want with it. It is entirely possible, for a variety of reasons not under your control, that you’ll see little to none of that money, or it will be years away from now should you do get any of it.
