June promotion at Angel Food Ministries
Angel Food Ministries, which has delivery sites all over southeast Michigan and northwest Ohio (and many other places across the country), has a special incentive for June 2010.
The details have been mentioned on Angel Food’s facebook page and I also was forwarded a memo with the details:
Every person who orders any box is entered into drawing for $500 as long as we have an email address. … Every person ordering three (3) boxes or more gets a second entry for the $500 drawing.
This can be an online order or an order entered into AngelNet by the Host Site director, but we need to have the individual’s email information.
Another detail to be aware of is that starting this month, customers can place phone call orders via credit and debit cards via the national headquarters. Those on food stamps, aka Michigan Bridge Card for my local readers, will still need to place their orders in person during the host locations’ office hours.

I discovered a perk to ordering online last month. When we went to pick up our packages the truck was late. We waited and waited. I had to drop my husband off at work and come back and wait a few hours. I was nearly late to work myself. They told us the truck was delayed by an official in Georgia because something was wrong with his paperwork. A week later Angel Food Ministries emailed me with an apology and a code for 10% off our next purchase. I don’t think the people who ordered onsite received this because the host site didn’t know anything about it.
