Michigan Radio is looking for Michigan residents to talk to about food stamps and Section 8
In my newsroom, we call this situation a “reader call-out.” I don’t know what the equivalent term is in radio!
But here is the situation: Michigan Radio, which is the National Public Radio affiliate in our area, is putting out a query for sources in its ongoing coverage of poverty issues.
There are two specific call-outs posted in which some Monroe on a Budget readers might be good candidates:
One involves the process of qualifying for food stamps in Michigan. If you fit those circumstances and are willing to talk to a Michigan Radio reporter, follow this link and fill out the contact form.
The other involves a wait list for preschool programs or Section 8. If you live in Michigan, fit those circumstances, and are willing to talk to a Michigan Radio reporter, follow this link and fill out the contact form.
