Our kids simply don't view the world in the way that our generation does.

As a result, many of the issues we feel are unrelsolvable, will melt from view. Racism is only one example. Some in our parent's generation couldn't imagine interracial marriage much less an African American President.

The same goes with culture wars, abortion, and immigration. They think that we are crazy and in some ways, they are right.

Jeff,
The president has always spoke at Notre Dame.....It's a standing invite it seems. I have no issue, regrdless of his positions, with his speaking as the President always speaks at commencement....

As for the resest of your articule......

fainess in taxes.........never will happen till we all pay he same.

global warming a hoax...given the most recent 10 years we should be discussing global cooling....

at $14,000 a kid i dont think education and approprate funding should ever be mentioned in the same breath again. we keep spending more and getting less. lets agree on "change" an dump the NEA and start with private schools based on profit. i'll tkae the $14,000 per kid gaurentte a better result for the kid and keep the leftover cash. i'll get rich, and the kids will be better educated.

our kids will not "solve" abortion until there are no more. do you believe that will happen?

explotation of imaggrent...let everyone go back and get in line and come "legally" come one, come all legally!!! my grand parents came through ellis island, why can't everyone come legally. this is a huge non-issue. COME LEGALLY and there is NO ISSUE.

the cultural war is far from over....ask nancy p.

where is all the protestors of the "surge" in afganistan. did you hear what harry reid had to say? after being breifed about what obama wanted to do, this after concultation with his generals and over the objection of biden and nacy, an additional build up in troops, all harry had to say was "just don't call it a surge." appernetly he wants no one reminded of the sucess we had in iraq.

back to taxes. do you think cap and trade will result in being a fairer taxe for the working man?
