Labor Day weekend gas prices vary greatly

Gasoline prices are all over the map this Labor Day, the last big driving weekend of the summer season.

Gov. Granholm says motorists should feel free to complain if they think they’re being shorted at the pump or the quality of the gas they buy isn’t what they think it should be.

Complaints can be logged around the clock by calling 1-800-MDA-FUEL.

The state also has advice for getting better mileage. Check out the info here.

Prices at the pump in Monroe County, by the way, are ranging from $2.85 to $3.27 for a gallon of unleaded regular. The average is around $3.01.
