Speaking of banks and fraud…

This is what I got in my e-mail this morning:

Dear Citizens Bank and Charter One Bank customer,

Citizens Bank & Charter One Bank Customer Service requests you to complete Money Manager GPS Client Online Form.

This procedure is obligatory for all business and corporate clients of Citizens Bank and Charter One Bank.

Please click hyperlink below to access Money Manager GPS Client Online Form.

Two problems: I am not a Citizens Bank or Charter One customer and never have been. There was a major error in my e-mail address that was part of the message.

Most banks don’t ask customers to verify stuff through e-mails. If there’s ever any doubt about an e-mailed message you received, call your bank and ask if it’s legit before responding to it.
