I think in this case it’s a particular style. The description from their web site says, “Amish Macaroni Salad — A macaroni pasta salad with a little carrot, a little onion, a lot of hard cooked eggs and a sprinkle of celery seed. The dressing is flavored with sugar, corn cider, vinegar and mustard.” Except for the carrot, this mostly matches the recipe here.

Yeah, Yoder stuff is pretty good. Except for the name, I wonder if there’s anything really Amish about it. I think the Amish are known for good noodles, but not the elbow macaroni kind necessarily. Or are they?

I’d retrieved that same text using Firefox and posted it on my blog as well.

FYI, that happens to be one of my absolute favorite macaroni salads. I just haven’t bought any in a while, but probably will in the future regardless of this recall. It’s darn good stuff.
