My name is Tonya and this blog is about our son, Knoah. The hope is to share our experiences with raising a child with Achondroplasia, a form of dwarfism. He is our miracle baby!
Knoah has just finished his first year of life! It has been quite a roller coster and I don’t see it slowing down from here! From temper tantrums to medical complications, you will find it all here! Trust me, there is no “shortage” of drama in our lives!!
In this blog, What is normal? you will find a lot of information regarding dwarfism and how it relates to you, your pregnancy and baby. I must stress, I am not a doctor! I am a mom who has dedicated her free time to researching information to provide to you, our readers. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me! If they are medical questions, please contact your doctor!

Hi Tonya - I just wanted to thank you for making this site. I have recently become involved with a man who has just told me that his 16 year old daughter is a “short person” (his words.) I read quite a bit on your site, looked at the pictures, watched all the videos. I needed this information to know what to think and how to feel in my heart. Thanks again.
Hugs,
Angel
