‘Idol’ announces Tuesday’s theme
It’s pop theme week on American Idol this week. The top 10 finalists will get guidance from Gwen Stefani. The show airs at 8 p.m. Tuesday on Fox, followed by the results show at 9 p.m. Wednesday.
Stefani will perform “The Sweet Escape” with Akon on Wednesday.

It’s about time they had someone on the show who wasn’t past their prime!! Last week’s theme was great, but seriously, who were those guest singers?! I vaguely recognized the songs, but when was the last time you heard them on the radio (besides on the oldies station)? I am so psyched for Tuesday’s episode!!
Now if America would just vote off the crappy singers, we’d be all set……

i completely agree…and i love gwen stefani, so that’s a bonus. enough with the barry manilow, diana ross, kenny rogers ‘help’. yikes.
i think phil or sanjayah is the next to go.

phil wasn’t even in the bottom three, he’s been ‘kicking it up a notch’. sanjayah keeps doing stuff to his hair, he’ll be there awhile. waiting to see a princess leia hairdo, but with tony bennett, i guess anything’s possible. lol!
