Doolittle ousted from “Idol”
My worst fears have come true. Beatboxer Blake Lewis is in the finals at American Idol.
He beat out favorite Melinda Doolittle during last night’s elimination round. It’s now Blake vs. Jordin Sparks in the finals next week.
After hearing the reaction from the crowd, when the announcement was made that Doolittle was eliminated, I know I’m not the only one who wanted to see Blake leave the stage. Sighs and mumbles overwhelmed the crowds reaction to the news.
Needless to say, I’m rooting for Jordin. Who do you guys want to win? Do you care? Will you watch next season, especially since this year was considered a down year? Let me hear your thoughts!

As I said before this is my first season of Idol; I don’t think I’ll be watching next year. It’s too demanding being on two times a week. I love TV and have lots of other shows I’d rather watch. Also I’m probably not going to purchase any of the contestants CD’s. To date the only artist I even remotely listen to is Kelly Clarkston and that’s only her newest cd. Maybe if Gina had made it this far, I’d listen to her music. But as for Melinda getting voted off, it’s terrible. If this is a singing competition she should have won, she is hands down the best singer on the show. She might not be the best performer but definitely the best singer. I will for sure now be rooting for Jordin. I like Blake but he’s not best and shouldn’t win.
