Lots of new summer shows are premiering this week. Like I said before, there is no such thing as summer reruns anymore!
Also this week, you can check out Hollywood’s biggest stars when they participate in the 9th annual Michael Douglas & Friends Celebrity Golf Event. Among the celebrities are his wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Donald Trump, Heather Locklear, Alice Cooper, Josh Duhamel, Mark Wahlberg, and Martin Sheen.
It will air Sunday, June 10 on NBC, immediately following the men’s final of the French Open.
According to my co-worker, Marge, this is more entertaining than you would think. She said it’s worth watching – thanks for the tip, Marge!

Standoff returns!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank God. What is up with FOX’s attitude with good drama/romance shows. They really tick me off with this whole reality show theme thing. They are really ruining their network. Some of their ratings this year should tell them that!!!!!!

Standoff is entertainment for the viewer who likes a great romantic pairing, alittle humor on the side and alot of action. It is great TV viewing, and deserves another look. Catch other episodes on the FOX on Demand site if you want to see what you have missed, but just seeing the next several episodes should hook even the pickest viewer!!

Tomorrow night at 9:00PM EST- Standoff ENJOY!!!!!

Standoff remains FOX’s best drama in years. It is a total shame FOX can’t pick a show and support it like a regular network does. Drive is a perfect example of total overkill on promotion, and Standoff is the perfect expample of zero support and treading water on it’s own. My wife and I watch Standoff because it really entertains both of us, I get the action, she really likes the leads being involved with each other, so it is win - win at my house this Friday night.

I hope more people find this show, it really is good.

  3. Elizabeth Says:

Always good to find other Standoff fans…ditto to all of the above! We’ll be watching!

  4. Amy Says:

Finally!!!!!!! Friday night TV just improved big time!! Standoff is that quality TV crime drama series that comes along once every five years or so that people see in re-runs and wish they would have watched from the get go. Don’t let this show pass you by, tune in and watch two of the most eye catching and talented actors draw you into the world of hostage negotiation, with a side dish of romance.

    GREAT Show, Standoff!!
