‘Bourne’ dominates box office

The third installment of the “Bourne” trilogy is proving to be the best one yet. It easily took the top spot at the box office over the weekend with $70.2 million.
The Bourne Ultimatum is the largest debut for a film opening in August, beating 2001’s Rush Hour 2 that opened with $67.4 million.
‘Bourne Ultimatum’ had the best opening of the first two installments. The second movie, The Bourne Supremacy, opened with $52.5 million in 2004. And the first one, The Bourne Identity,’ opened with $27.1 million.
The Simpsons Movie, which was number one last weekend, fell to second place by earning $25.6 million. The Simpsons Movie has earned over $315 million worldwide.

    I’ve seen Transformers, which was awesome! Really, the only other movie on this list I want to see is “Bourne.”
