Damon: “Best value” film star
Forbes Magazine says movie star Matt Damon gives the best office returns for his Hollywood salary.
He offers twice the value of Tom Hanks and Tom Cruise, making $29 for each dollar he is paid. The highest ranked actress is Jennifer Aniston, who took the number five spot.
Brad Pitt was the runner-up, making $24 for each dollar for his salary, while Vince Vaughn tied for third with Johnny Depp.
Hanks, Cruise and Will Smith returned between $10 to $12 for each dollar they’re paid.
Russell Crowe was at the bottom of the list of 21 actors, mainly due to poor box office performances.
