MTV music nominees announced
Nominees for the MTV Video Music Awards were released on Tuesday. The show will air Sept. 9 from Las Vegas. For a complete list of nominees, and to vote for your favorite, visit www.mtv.com.
Categories include Best new artist, female artist of year, male artist of year, best group, most earth-shattering collaboration, quadruple threat of the year, best choreography, best director, best editing, and video of year.
Nominees for best group are Fall Out Boy, Gym Class Heroes, Linkin Park, Maroon 5, and The White Stripes.
Video of the year nominees are Beyonce, “Irreplaceable”; Justice, “D.A.N.C.E.”; Rihanna, “Umbrella”; Justin Timberlake, “What Goes Around…Comes Around”; Kanye West, “Stronger,” and Amy Winehouse, “Rehab.”
